About Me:
My friends tell me I ask a lot of questions when I meet people. I think it's because I'm a skilled conversationalist. My friends say it's to cover up my embarrassing lack of pop culture knowledge. Even so, I tend to be the guy telling stories at a party or the person who organizes a big outing for my friends.
I come from a small city, lived overseas, and now happily call DC home. I have a job I love, facilitating workshops all over the country. I'm a strong believer that once you've had a job you love and believe in you can never go back to being happy just making a living.
I have amazing friends who have taught me to appreciate life and feel good about myself. They are a huge source of inspiration and support for me.
Some things I don't understand: calculus, what's exciting about watching the Weather Channel, how my 401K works.
I like chocolate ice cream more than vanilla, hiking more than biking, tea more than coffee, dogs more than cats, movie theatres more than DVDs, and margaritas frozen not on the rocks.
I'm uncomplicated, witty, and idealistic.

Who I Want to Meet:
I want to meet anyone, but not everyone. I'm a busy guy, so meeting everyone wouldn't work out.
I like to experience life with people, not sit down periodically to catch up on what we've been doing since the last time we sat down to catch up. I'm as excited about a trip with friends to the grocery store as I am about our weekend in NYC. For me it's about being with quality people who make me laugh, talk about ideas and find ways to make life exciting.
I'm looking for people confident enough to sing in the car with the windows down. People who use their wit to make me laugh and put others at ease. People who are excited to try new things. People who push me to be a better person. People who make an effort to mix with my friends.

Testimonials and Comments for Matt
But this is Friendster so I'll keep it clean. I'll save the bad stuff for my book. ;-)
Seriously though, Matt's a special guy. I count myself blessed to have him as a close friend.
Glad we made it through the divorce. Though I'm still thinking about suing for custody of Joey.
a piggy bank costume out on Halloween
and make it home with the giant fake
quarter still sticking out of his back is
my hero. Seriously though, Matt has
been my friend, mentor and lunch date
many times since we both moved to DC.
Not only has he given me directions to
get in and around DC (and patiently
given me further directions when I
promptly get lost) but he's also coached
me through class and career confusion
on more than one occasion. He's
incredibly knowledgable and never
condescending, and cares for his friends
sometimes more than himself. My
favorite thing about Matt, though, is that
he's so damn funny that I'm borderline
terrified of consuming a beverage in front
of him for fear that whatever he says will
induce choking or cause liquid to come
out of my nose. There's nothing I love
more than dangerous wit.

vodka sodas and sings lounge music to
it. It will replenish your face and
take years off your um, body. Those who
know Matt can count themselves lucky!
Matt DeMarco in West Virginia. My
stomach is still hurting from laughing
so hard. My knees are in rough shape
as well. Seriously though, Matt is one
of my favorite people in the entire
world.
this..., but it is because he has an insane passion for Q-tips!! Why Q-tips
you may ask... well, any boy that loves Q-tips is a keeper, or at least that
is what my step-mom says! It is a pretty simple equation... clean ears =
great listener = great friend... and that is what Matt is.
record...Matt's the best thing since
sliced bread...and that's pretty damn
hard to beat...
