BAKIT MESHPOTATOES?
Sinimulan po nila Glenn (drummer), Celes (bassist), Norman (vocalist) at Allan (lead guitarist) as katuwaan jamming lang. Mga architects po kami na nagkakilala sa isang forum. Lahat po kasi kami nag33d, tapos very common sa work namin ung word na 'mesh.' Yung potatoes naman naisip namin na parang analogy sa 'couch potatoes.' Kung yung couch potatoes adik sa panonood ng TV kami naman ang MeshPotatoes na adik sa pag33d.
Bago dumating ung 1st gig namin nakilala namin si Chris (vocalist) at Edgie (lead guitarist). Tapos lately si Nathan (bassist) pumalit kay Celes.
KELAN NABUO ANG MESHPOTATOES/GIGS?
Last March lang kami nagkakila-kilala, May'06 yung kauna-unahang gig namin sa Heartrock Pinoy East Coast. Sumunod naman sa Rock D Fort sa Fort Canning. Yung huling gig namin a few weeks ago dito sa Gashaus Musicmania-3 at Banda Fantastika
FUTURE PLANS?
Plano namin simulan gumawa ng mga originals next year. Hopefully, makagawa din ng compilation album together with the rest of Pinoy bands here in Singapore. Salamat po sa lahat ng tumatangkilik sa MeshPotatoes! God bless at mabuhay kayong lahat!
