♫ My whole world revolves around MUSIC. I come from a family of musicians: my mom Nancy (who's a pastoral team member) sings back-up, my dad Derek plays the guitar, my eldest brother Kenneth (who's a preacher and a youth leader) sings the lead vocals, my second elder brother Kelvin plays the bass (he's among the best in Klang Valley) and my younger brother Joe plays the drums. ♫
♫ In the Music Ministry, I'm a lead vocalist, a modern dance choreographer, a keyboardist, and a drummer. (I'm still learning the guitar.) Besides that, I'm also a youth cell leader and a member of the GetReal'07 youth camp committee. I'm also a songwriter (in 2001, I won an Original Composer Award in 'That '70s Talent Quest', organised by St. Gabriel's Church), and a poet (I got a Merit Award from the International Society of Poets; some of my poems were published and recorded in the US). ♫
♫ Hey, being a Christian is not what you see on TV (being solemn in church and not having fun). It's fun serving the Lord through songs and dances! ♫
♫ I've won some awards in singing competitions back in primary and secondary schools. I've also performed at special events like youth concerts, Christmas stage plays, Easter concerts, church anniversary dinners, charity dinners and weddings. ♫
