      • About Me:

I am a resident of Montreal who loves the city so much, and
extolls its virtues so often that my friends have taken to
        calling me Mr. Montreal.

I love Montreal because it is a great city. What makes a
city great? I like to think that it has
something to do with dichotomy - the existence of otherwise
conflicting elements, nonetheless living in harmony. If
that is true then Montreal has that in spades! Once under
the almost complete control of the Catholic Church,
Montreal has now become a fun loving, hard living city
where all manner of vice is practiced... and yet the
streets are amongst the safest on the continent. Quebec has
been wracked by linguistic wars since the 60s and yet
Montreal without the French would result in a city as
sterile and lifeless as Toronto. Montreal without the
English? A third rate clone of Lyon or Marseille - no place
you would ever want to hang out in. Montreal has some fine
and varied dining options - the calibre of food here is
unparalleled and yet - every corner has a 99 cent pizza
slice joint... Anyway, that's what Montreal is all about -
cross cultural pollination and the whacky hijinks that
        ensue!

star partiers... you know, the typical lover or resident of
Montreal. Just send me a message and I will see if you are
on the guest list. Ha ha...

      • Ah, Montreal...so much more than just a party - more a city-state (or mindstate). And in my experience, Mr. Montreal embodies pretty much all of what makes this town so amazing - wit, sophistication, charm, and fine dining. And video games. And porno. But what is life without intranet Quake and xxx vids? A barren wasteland.....

      • Oh, Montreal, where would I be without
you? Probably in Hogtown or the Eastern
Townships. I shudder to think. Thanks
for all the beer and pot and sex and
        half of our student body.
