About Me:
Surrounding was all the old wood pieces, together with boxes of old filthy things abandoned. Im forgotten, along with all the memories.
I hope for a familiar sight to come near once again. But there was no one.
Then, I heard footsteps. It came towards me and before i realise, I was lifted up into a black bag and slowly distant away from my old home.
In the bag, I saw many like myself, all abandoned and sad. The toys sigh in unison. They started talking about their past. Some tear while some grew angry, all feeling unfair of their fate.
Suddenly, one of the them protested, Let's escape and find our own happiness', and with one another's help, we use our mightest strength and broke the bag together. Then, we ran across the street, over the bridge, the toys ran with all their might, all happy about the new freedom.
By dawn, we all grew tired and cold. We huddled up for warm but the fearsome cats pounce on them. We hid for protection but little children kicked us and laugh at us.
Cowardly, I hid under the bin refusing to come out and even on rainy days, shivering in cold and tremble with sadness. The toys have chosen to leave me to find a better place of their own. Feeling all alone and upset, I cry myself to sleep every night.
The man who bought the empty bag to a museum emptied it among a pool of toys to find out that all of them has escaped. The man sighs. Worrying about the safety of the toys, he spent hours looking for them everyday. He misses the bear especially.
One day, on his way home, he saw a gather of cats under a rubbish bin. Out of curiosity, he went closer for a look. He saw the bear being chewed on his ears, pulled on his paws. He moved forward and saved the bear.
I was torn and tattered, dirty and stinky. But he placed me in his arms. I leaned on it and regretted so much running away, sobbing with gratefulness and
I promised to be good bear from then on and guard the Museum with everything good.
