If you're lucky you know what it's like: that feeling of bursting out of a shell, of becoming who you are. When you know what you want and you know that it's within your grasp, a gleeful tremor shocks through your nervous system, and the hairs on the back of your neck stand at attention: the same thing that happens when you watch Narda perform.
Like the komiks superheroine alter ego the band was named after, Narda has always had immense power encased in its all-too-human skin. In an earlier incarnation, they garnered devoted fans and critical accolades, including an In the Raw Award in 2004 at the famed NU107 Rock Awards. After four EPs and a debut full-length release that wound up on critics' best-of-2005 list, the band has now truly come into their own.
