Nephilim is a Death Metal band that assembled mid-November of 2007. Members Hail from Marikina , Quezon City and Manila . The Founding members of the band , Gabz Ramos and Leo Belgica were bandmates in the now defunct band Arduvwar. After the demise of their former band, the two decided to work on a new project and went out looking for new members. Midway through their search, Leo left the band due to schedule conflicts.
Gabz , Resilient , refused to give up and continued looking for musicians.
He soon came across then-Redjin Guitarist Soi Machina. Several days later ,guitarist Allen Asis was inked into the band. The lineup was capped with Rattlehead Drummer , Abbie Marzan and a dude named Ryan on Bass guitar. The band formally came to life in C.M.Recto Sta. Cruz , Manila.
Regrettably , the band would soon be missing musicians once more as Soi and Ryan would stop rehearsing due to Schedule Conflicts.
Though short handed , the band would find time to continue working on the project while searching for new members to fill the gaps. The band resurfaced following the acquisition of Guitarists Chad and Claren Corporal . Weeks passed and the band again was forced to seek replacements as Chad soon stopped appearing at rehearsals and was cut. The Delay , however was short lived as immidiately after Chad left , Guitarist Jayjay Punongbayan joined the band. Thus , Nephilim's Classic Lineup.
The Band , thrived and grew. Progress was definitely present. Weeks passed and piece by piece , songs that would eventually become testaments to the bands dedication came about. All was good but again , fate would strike once more this time, with the Dismissal of Claren Corporal due to personal Differences. Shows we're Played and Everthing was good , Songs were in the works and The Band's rise is imminent.
And then Founding Member Gabz Ramos started Tiptoeing around the band . soon it hindered him from attending rehersals and ultimately a very important gauge gig. As of now the band manages to keep their heads above water with axemen Allen and Jayjay Doing the Vocal Duties
