The Golden Compass

Vision:

PACS, Inc. envisions a strong and dynamic national student organization of self-directing and conscientious Filipino chemistry students committed to upholding excellence in the study and application of chemistry that is responsive to the needs of the nation.

Mission:

PACS, Inc. will be a proactive organization that shall promote the advancement and application of science in general and chemistry in particular to all Filipino students through its various projects and activities aimed towards increased competence in chemistry, scientific excellence, and socio-cultural awareness.

Objectives:

*Organize academic-related activities and projects that encourage intellectual inquiry in the study of the chemical sciences

*Provide updated information regarding academic scholarships, study and research grants, job openings, and on-the-job training facilities

*Promote solidarity through socio-civic, cultural, physical, and recreational activities that encourage the interaction of the different member societies

*PACSosyalan (an inter-organization acquaintance party where you get to meet and mingle with other chemistry students in the country)

*OlymPACS (an inter-society sports fest)

*Junior Chemistry Congress (for high school students)

*National Students' Chemistry Congress
