About Me:
Back in August 2005, Randy (Drums), Wawan (Guitar) and Adit (Bass) started a band named Patrickstar. They asked Wandes (Guitar) and Dhea (Vocals) to complete the line-up. Initially, the band was formed just for one time local neighborhood act to performed Metallica and Pas Band covers. Somehow, they just sort of clicked into each other and continued their other live gigs covering Japanese bands, such as Judy And Mary, L'Arc~en~Ciel, Siam Shade and other anime themes.
Later on Randy decided to leave the band and replaced by Wawan - by having moved onto drums. Soon, Asto joined the band as a guitarist. Due to study abroad, Dhea left the band in February 2006 and then replaced by Dimas. In August 2006, for a number of reasons, both guitarists Wandes and Asto had left the band. The only three original member of Patrickstar that still remain are Dimas (Vocals, Guitar), Adit (Bass) and Wawan (Drums). In this latest line-up, they recorded their very first demo track in November 2006.
Their musical taste was particularly Japanese Pop/Rock oriented. However, eventually the main influences from each member contribute their sounds to the band. Britpop and Indie Rock bands like Manic Street Preachers, Stereophonics and Copeland also taking part to Patrickstar's music influences. Combining British and Japanese Rock tones, the band produced their songs unrapidly.
