      • I used to have a good testimonial for Pat, but then I left Friendster and it vanished into the ether. So I'm making up for it here... Once, when P and I were in NY, we bought cream puffs at Beard Papa's and walked through the night eating them. As soon as I finished mine, and before I could even blink, Pat had taken my paper wrapper out of my hand and tossed it in the trash for me. If that's not a gentleman, I don't know what the hell is.

      • I met a pre-pubescent Pat at nerd camp
        in Saratoga Springs. We've been friends
        ever since, so I know his dirty little
        secrets. Girls -- don't be taken by
        this cutie's polite demeanor--he's the
        one who tortures animals with alka
        selter, and uses cute furry animals as
        target practice.

      • I recall the days old when I took this
        young korean under my wings and showed
        him the ways of the Boss. I showed him
        the ways of Dylan. And the Young Park
        said, "It is good."

        In return, Park has threatened my life
        on numerous occassions, in a manner that
        verges artfully on the border between
        jest and immediate danger. For the
        purposes of protection, I have enlisted
        the help of the jewish mafiosa,
        otherwise known to Park as "the Great
        Jew Conspiracy."

        While Park and I are from different
        worlds -- one of innate evil, the other
        of inherent good -- we have managed to
        blind ourselves long enough to suffer
        through something of a lasting
        friendship. Basically, if Nam happens
        again, I want Park on my squad. And if
        Nam doesn't happen, then, well, paintball.
