About Me:
I call myself psychoverse. Was does that tell you?
uh... i have 3 Zodiac signs... being born on the cusp of
scorpio and sag wasn't enough... the astronomers discovered
the earth's tilt in the millenia since the advent of the
zodiac has tilted a few extras degrees allowing the sun to
pass through a 13th sign, which astrologers completely
reject...... i love being polyracial (filipino, irish,
norwegian, chinese, and spanish).... i one day ended up the
Activities Director at El Camino High School and suddenly
through friendster my former students think it is OK to
associate with me... i sometimes get to teach English,
Creative Writing, Film & Literature, and Leadership... I am
often found in room 13A or at Pac Bell Park in section 138
(and it is impossible not to find us when we're there, just
look for the 138 on the jerseys during most night games)...
-
Who I Want to Meet:
Everybody.... particularly anyone i grew up with on the
Monterey Peninsula... having friends who were military
brats meant that they came and went in a flash...

starts up again... but then again I
KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE MWHAHAHA no i dont
remember DAMN! Oh well... see ya around
P-dawg hehe
Remember me? I was one of those
promising yet rebellious students!
Wonder if that narrowed it down at
all... Hehehe sorry bout all that.
Well, as an English teacher, I'm sure
you'll be pleased to hear that I am
STUDYING ENGLISH in college and I am
DOING QUITE WELL, THANK YOU! Your
class was one of the most enlightening
and valuable experiences I had at EC,
and I must express my gratitude. Keep
on whipping those kids into shape, we
all know EC students can be a
difficult bunch, not to mention a bit
unmotivated (I'm not hatin', but to be
honest, I've probably only seen 2 or 3
EC alums at UCD). Hey, speaking of
UCD, I live with your cousin! HAHA can
you guess which one? Anyway, who
knows, maybe you'll see me back at EC
teaching! WATCH OUT! hahaha, we'll see
if I have the nerve...
lol... any way you have saved me from
my death wish my freshman year in
class when that guy got all mad and
attacked me and then you beat me to
death with all them track practices.
now you saved me again in a way buy
showing me this site and i get to find
old friends! thanks Derek for
everything... but only one thing my
spelling still sucks lol take care!

the man to whom the quip "there's a
grain of truth in every joke." can be
attributed (yes, i still remember
that.), the man who coined the
term "scriptotherapy," the man who
changes the world one mind at a time.
as incredibly cheeeeesy as it may
sound (bear with moi!!), i think i
speak for mostif not allwhen i
say, "he's graced our lives with his
presence.."
i never met anyone like monsieur p &
am quite fortunate [and proud] to have
served 3 glorious years at el camino
under his direction; i couldn't
possibly have asked for a better
leadership teacher. he's led us that
much further out of the "cave of
ignorance," and i hope he continues to
inspire others as he did me.
although we don't keep in touch as
often as i'd like, i'm extremely
grateful that we remain friends.
after all, i practically owe 3/4ths of
my highschool memories to this man.
(how can one not want to befriend
someone who enjoys mel brooks'
films?!!!!!!!!!)
an ambitious one who makes the best
mixed cds and comes up with the most
obscure scavenger hunt items !
addicted to minesweeper as well as
great music/film/literature....adept
at analyzing all sorts of life
tribulations and the like, he also
loves going on routine costco runs
well okay, who doesn't!! (mmmmmmm,
cheesecake.....)
and though he's accomplished more in 3
decades than most have in...8, he's
always hankering to improve himself.
not one to follow all the rules (which
i personally find admirable), he is
one of the most complex individuals i
know. (read: THREE zodiac signs, yo.)
truly a gifted writer, a loyal friend,
a supportive mentor, et cetera, et
cetera .... [i doubt this incoherent
testimonial did you any justice..] i
miss you and your quirks, but am
definitely glad to have gotten to know
ya!
one last note: don't forget
to "sharpen your saw" and take care of
YOUrself!!!!!!!!!!
HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY BOITDAY, MR.
P!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you
deserve the best! s=0)
No? Hehe =D
there. actually, i see him more as a
friend or like a mentor. yup! this guy
is just fun to talk to and is great to
go to for advice. he's also very easy
to be urself around. such a great guy!
i had a blast being in 5th period
leadership with him my junior year cuz
if it wasn't for that class i don't
think i'd be this weird around him.
woo! but yes, mr. p is like an GREAT
guy. he likes simpsons, cool movies,
the giants, and other fun stuff. oh,
and when he gets married, i get to be
the priest, so if ur like a cool lady
who's "legal," go and be mr. p's
friend...or girlfriend! cuz i mean, if
u do, mr. p would shower u with
special bread from grain d'oir or
whatever that place is called, take u
to fun baseball games in section 138,
and show u cool movies that make u
think! so yay for mr. p! okay, well,
that was just a lot of rambling. have
fun in leadership and remember to take
care of urself and not go crazy...woo!
P first of all i just wanted to thank
you for the intro to this site! i found
some great friends and in you case
friend as well as coach and teacher!
but as you can tell my spelling is
still not that great lol. but i just
wanted to say that you are a great
coach and teacher and friend. thanks
for all the good time in HS you are
truly a friend and if you need me for
back up ill be there (i just felt like
saing that). Thanks again
the contrary, I think he's class of 90
or 91, but has showed the spirit of
every year which is not a wonder that
he is a student leadership director of
a school that is dear to my heart. I
know Derek would keep the standards
that we left behind for future years to
come. That's why he's such a great
leader, right? Anyways, much love and
good luck!!
