you see, robert has a lot of friends

time when we were isolated, standing
alone sober at parties making fun of
modesto queens who soon became sf
queens. girl, sister, and all that good
stuff. he used to spend way more time
getting ready then i did. he probably
still does. but he is one of the
smartest, most loyal, bestest pals i
have ever had the pleasure of knowing,
and i miss that face.
We're not often lucky to experience people like
Robert, and rarely privileged to have people
like Robert as friends. Happenstance dictated
that I meet Robert in a moment where time
stood still at San Francisco Pride [year

STUD is absolutely FLAWLESS a piece of
perfection. Well I remember him that
way anyhow. He was always a blast at

Okay, right, so, I've know Robert for
quite a few years - all the way back to
when we were teen suburban homosexuals,
at a time when it was not all hip and
socially acceptable and cool to be out
of the closet in high school. Anyway,
since then Robert's grown up into quite
the little slice, and he really knows a
shit-load of people, all of whom are
doubtlessly drawn to him because of his
vivaciousness and sparkling sense of
humor. There are probably other
qualities, as well, to which I have not
been exposed, but I would wager that
