SIENA COLLEGE OF TAYTAY RIZAL is formerly St. Catherine Academy, was opened in June 1957 during the term of the late Mother Natividad Pilapil, O.P., the Superior General of the Congregation. The succeeding decades saw the unprecendented growth and development of the institution. Siena College believes in a philosophy of life that is founded in the Catholic vision of man and inspired by the Dominican ideas. It upholds a definite set of TRUTH. As Christian faith communities in progress participates in the church's salvific mission through a Gospel-centered; education. Siena College serves the filipino educands in philippine setting. It seeks to establish, maintain and support a complete, adequate and integrated system of education relevant to the needs of a filipino. The spirit of "CONTEMPLATA ALIIS TRADERE: (to contemplate and to share the fruits of contemplation with others) is diffusive in OP education. In the Service for Truth; is conviction in OP education to share and serve Christ. -a compasionate response to the needs of the church and society especially to the least of our brothers and sisters, thus, promoting PEACE, JUSTICE and LOVE in the name of the Holy Triune God.
