In the summer of 2005, Kewei was roped into David Tao's Love Can world concert tour as backup vocalist and erhu player, and has been on the road ever since.
She has since toured with Wang Lee Hom's Music Man Tour 08/09, Amei Zhang Hui Mei's Star Tour 07/08, JJ Lin Junjie's Just JJ Tour 06, and also David Tao's 123 We Are All Wooden Men Tour 07/08.
These tours have taken her to more than 13 cities worldwide for more than 37 shows, including Toronto, Hong Kong, Taipei, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Genting, Shanghai, Beijing, Nanjing, Guiyang, Wuhan, Guangzhou and Macau.
She has also been involved in Hennessy Artistry The Art of Mixing private showcases with David Tao in Guangzhou and Shanghai, as well as the opening of Ponte 16 in Macau.
Mandarin pop aside,
she is active in the English pop-jazz scene in Singapore, and her solo acts include the recent Jazz By The Beach event at Sentosa, and showcases at Esplanade Lunchbox and Bangkok Jazz in Kuala Lumpur, as well as collaborations with the Philharmonic Winds.
She also sings with/co-founded Yours Truly (www.yourstruly.com.sg), singing/playing the erhu at weddings and events, and has performed for clients such as Cortina Watches, Omega, Lufthansa Airlines, Ferrari, DBS, SPH, JTC, Satair, Canon, IBM, UBS etc.
She is currently performing at Wala Wala on Tuesdays Happy Hour when in Singapore.
