The Twin Cities Avengers is a direct action group committed to queer women's survival, visibility and community. Our aim is to dismantle patriarchy and other forms of oppression. In this effort we work to raise awareness within our group and society about many issues including: gender oppression, heterocentrism, women's choice, capitalism, safer sex, struggles against war, racism, violence, and the environment as they relate to queer women locally and globally.

The Twin Cities Avengers are planning a benefit to make the 2006 Dyke March and after-party FREE for everyone without corporate sponsorship. We need $$ for a venue, accessibility vehicles for those who can't walk the march, distro of information, etc.

SO, we're planning a cabaret-style performance night with a DANCE PARTY to follow. The benefit will be at the Mala on Saturday, March 4th.

We're looking to showcase dyke and queer talent of all sorts, including band(s) and musical acts, burlesque, drag, random performance art and basically anything you've been waiting to have a stage and audience for.
