About Me:
gregarious, talkative (perhaps a little too much), very dry
sense of humor, political zealot and proselytizer for the
erosion of white supremacy, patriarchy, and homophobia,
i.e.-those everyday things that kill people's souls. A music
fanatic-I listen to music for the joy it brings but also
because it gives me reason to go on living. I'm a fairly
anxious person but not as joyless and grim as the above
suggests! My favorite quote is James Baldwin's
unforgettable statement, "the despair among the loveless is
that they must narcotize themselves in order to touch any
human being at all"
-
Who I Want to Meet:
someone with similar political convictions who is also aware
that 'absolute refusal' is impossible in a late global
capitalist world. hopefully someone who is a moderate music
fanatic and critical thinker. a person who understands that
the perpetuation of the heterosexual nuclear family and all
its vicissitudes is a guarantee that patriarchy will persist
ad nauseam. in other words, family in the widest sense of
the term is something that matters to you. If you are into
hard left critical theory and jumping up and down while
listening to music, we'd get along quite well.

Testimonials and Comments for Tim
Boston) to Detroit and other pure
techno back in 1991 with his show
Hardwired on WZBC 90.3. I still
listen to all those shows that I
recorded back then. Thanks for 12
great years of memories, Tim.
wouldn't know who I was. One of the
first to give Anti-pop some burn.A
great contribution to critical
advancements in literary hip hop.
unwavering dedication to equality is
spectacularly inspiring. Tim is a
bastion of knowledge and warmth. I miss
seeing him on a regular basis.
Tim. He is a fascinating conversationalist.
How often to you meet a man who can chat
academics, music, books, fashion, art
&cultural phenomena. His wit and sense of
humor are truly amazing. To know him is to
love him.
man. he has an encylopedic knowledge
of music, among other things. however,
he never uses his intelligence to
belittle anyone else. ever!
i've been friends with him for the past
12 years or so, and he has only lost
his temper once in all that time. he
has a razor sharp mind, strong
political convictions, and is friendly
and talkative. you should be so lucky
as to have him for a friend.
