About Me:
People tell me I'm different. Sometimes I wonder if they
mean "sane." I'm a pretty rational guy ususally. When I
dream, I like to dream about things like being "Vulcan B"
on the next star trek series.
Ok, I guess I'd even do Enterprise. ;o) Of course, by
different, they could also mean "geeky." I like logic and
try to think
before I react. I feel deeply about a very few things, but
when I feel, its usually pretty deeply. I think I'm
learning to trust my feelings more. I
believe that if all the world is a stage, I want the play to
be about adventure, camaraderie, and triumph over
adversity, but most
importantly, I want it to be a play about a party. I say
this, dear friends, becuase I believe that no matter what,
it is the party that must go on! I am very thankful
to be here and try to savor every minute. Its
quite an experience when I think about it. So much to do,
to see, to be. So many ways to pass the time sharing the
warmth of a friend (or two ;oP).

Who I Want to Meet:
I've pretty much had my fill of party poopers. I want to
meet someone who doesn't complain, someone who
knows who they are, what they
want, and how to get it without being an asshole or
whinning or pouting.
I want to meet someone who likes to dance and is not afraid
of making a fool of themselves.
I want to meet someone who likes to cook and eats healthy,
someone who enjoys music and the outdoors.
I want to meet someone kind and warm and nuturing that
won't smother me, someone who acts with honor and integrity,
that gives me the benefit of the doubt. Someone that likes
exploring details and new ways of doing
things. Someone who is tolerant of other's beliefs and
delights in creative self expression.
Someone who knows that it is having fun and treating others
well on the journey that matters.

Testimonials and Comments for Brett
Neolithic Era) Brett loaned me the
book "My Life as a Dog." I don't think
I ever read it, and I hope I still have
it somewhere so I can return it to
him. I don't think I do, though. "My
Life as a Dog" is one of Brett's
favorite movies. It's also one of
Patrick's. I have never seen it. One
time Brett and I went to Provincetown
on a whim. We got soooo drunk. We met
Harvery Fierstein. We also met this
guy that we called Queequeg because he
was extreme looking and bald and tatted
up. Queequeg was very, very boring,
Queequeg was a self-declared artist. I
think I am a better artist than
Queequeg. And Superagent Fred is even
more so, like astronomically. So there,
Queequeg. Go paint a bird. Brett once
gave me a CD of all the remixes to "I'm
Too Sexy" because he knew that I liked
that song. That was very nice of him. I
still have that CD. Sorry about the
book, though.
this picture? it looks like you might be
naked! heeeellllllooooo. brett is one
cool cat :-) 'nuff said.
years ago and fell in love with him--
that sweet face-- that Carhardt jacket--
that tall, strong body-- I was done.
For an entire year I was on the lookout
for him. On days when I saw him I would
swoon-- how can I meet this guy?-- on a
campus of 20,000-- how will I ever ever
meet him? Come on- y'all remember being
19-- unrequited love was a reason to
get up in the morning. Brett! Of course
I had no idea his name was Brett--
Flash forward a year- Brett is dressed
as Dracula on Halloweeen-- he bites me
on the neck. We kiss. Flash forward
another ten years- Brett is gay-- I am
straight-- and we have a beautiful
friendship, full of love and deep
respect and caring, full of delight and
appreciation. When I first saw him-- I
admit-- it was the looks-- but for so
many rich years-- it has been the love.
Brett is full of love. How fortunate I
am that he bit me that night.
