"The atoms that make up the earth are formed inside of stars. In that sense, you could say that all of life begins with a star." It was on May 2, 1987 that my life began. I know that I still have a long way to go. And that is precisely the reason why I am doing my very best in school. No, I am not good at everything. I am not one of those people who have lots of talents, but I know my capabilities. I know that although I'm not good at dancing, I can sing. I know that although I'm not good at speaking in front of a crowd, I can write well. One character from a book I've read said, "Different people are good at different things." People are all made unique by God, and one lesson I have learned is that although we can wish to be better persons, we must not envy people. As they always say, "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent." I am proud to say that I am quite contented with the way I am. I may not be good in math but knowing that I do well in all my other subjects makes me feel satisfied. I know I can say out loud that even in my past years of studying, I have been responsible enough, the way every student has to be. Despite the huge amount of load that is given us, I am still able to manage my time, finish everything, submit all the requirements, and not forget about having fun. I am not the type of person who gives up easily. I have learned that everything that we do entails a lot of hard work. In doing things, it's hard to avoid hardships and sacrifices, but then again, as Mrs. Lovering would say, "They're all part of life's rich tapestry." In the future, I want to be successful in the path I choose, and I guess the only way to reach that is to start being the best person I can be. Making a difference would be hard, I know, but I will try. Years from now, I may be a better person or a worse one, who knows? But I want people to remember that I have tried.
