I love learning, you should as well. A life spent in
ignorance is certainly not bliss in my opinion. I read
rapaciously, enjoy great debates on virtually any subject
and live for academe. A sometimes-perfect day for me is
tea, encyclopedia or other reference material and the most
precious commodity, time. I also have a passion for the
wild side of life sometimes. I go skydiving whenever
possible, get rapturous over roller coasters and find that
fear can be just as stimulating as laughter. I enjoy
culture, for example, spending Sunday at museums, playing
the violin, hitting a new play, and then getting
inebriated somewhere in between (hehe). I love music, although I
never have enough time to listen outside the car or the
office after everyone has left for the day. Not only do I
find that music can affect my emotional state, but it is
an excellent catalyst for thought. I enjoy taking up
indefensible positions and formulating contention to
incite debate. If you cant handle a devils advocate then
I suggest you move on. By profession, I am a scientist and
approach life very much with an empiricist's practice for
the simple and the physicist's ability for the complex. I
live to be a dichotomy and challenge for myself, others
and the world at large.

I have found that Donne was correct, No man is an island,
entire of itself; I have been alone by myself, it surely
has merits. I have been alone with others; there is value
in that as well. Id like to find out what it is like not
being alone, but rather sharing life with someone else for
once. If any of this piques your interest, drop me a line
or two and begin the dialog...cheaters, liars and the
general population of morally bankrupt masses need not
apply. Always enjoy meeting cerebral people. The most
important aspect to anyone is intellect as far as I'm
concerned, quickly followed by heart. Many say such
things,
but as my friends will attest...
