UpBeat Production is an independent music group which was primarily founded by Dabawenyos and was formally launched in August 18, 2007 at Davao City, Mindanao, Philippines with the collective efforts of certain individuals and a scene that assiduously gives patronage to Jamaican music.

Composed of Mindanao-based ska and reggae acts, the driving force behind the group is to further uplift the Mindanao-flavored Caribbean sound typical to the scene in Jamaica during the heydays of The Skatalites and Bob Marley. And as a testament to its efforts in propagating the music scene in the island of Mindanao, the group has also been keen in extending their able hands to indie bands (outside the genre of ska and reggae) hailing from this side of the country.

With fervor, UpBeat Production continues to foster the bands under its umbrella. The group serves as a springboard for Mindanao bands as they push their music forward to newer heights and as they embark on uncharted territories.
