trivia section? Likely. Thanks for the
Courtney facts boy-oh! x
already been said before in countless
media publications, works of great
literature, and "Wanted" posters?
Frequently credited/blamed for "clipping
his wings", maybe I can offer insights
from a different perspective....
The Famous Monkey Phlegm incident
attracted me to RKJP from the outset -
his wit, his charm, his ability to cope
with bodily-fluid related disasters. His
love of music and fantastic songwriting is
probably one of the most important
things you can know about Rob, and
Saturday Night Suicide is only the latest
in a long line of experimental pirate rock
punk glam bands that the public is not
yet sophisticated enough to appreciate
(RIP Avid Panda).
A cockney chap/Kentish lad who led me
to the depths of Mordor but brought me
back home safely, Rob is fantastic and
it's a privilege to be his token Scottish

friends, beer and films, even if his
musical taste is stranger to me than a
sober Friday.
It's necessary to warn that Rob has long
hair and an infectious desire to make
highly amusing video clips on digital
cameras and email them to people. He's
like Jeremy Beadle, but he has two hands
that work.
I like Rob. We drank together after
finishing Finals. The next morning we
woke up seperately and remembered
little. I had some money left, so he may
even have bought me a drink. What a
great bloke.
If I ever fail in my quest to avoid
Kent, I will look up the German-speaking
funmeister and re-live the heady days of
Arcadian fun we had in Oxford's arboreal
avenues.
In the mean time I hope he enjoys being
a good mate to his friends and slightly
disturbing to strangers, the Finnish and
young children.
Comet, Rob's cosmic origins were
bound to propel him to intergalactic
stardom, and a particularly magical pair
of Russian boots aided him in his quest
to scour the lands for the other
members of the Unsterblichen, a
legendary race of immortals whose
deeds were to be known throughout the
known realms, and their sayings, such
as (cockney accent) 'Look at those
boots!' and anthemic ballads 'Belle
Philis, c'est trop, c'est trop souffrir' ,
were revered as wiser than those of the
Thirteen. Supposed suitable switches
and swatches show signs saying
saturday night suicide swallow sake
soon, soon, very soon, now, NOW,
VERY NOW, and portend favourable
futures far.
"As Rob turned the twist of a smile into
a parting grin, the words sprang from
his lips and suffused the surroundings
with joy:
Da simmer dabei! Dat is prima! VIVA
