About Me:
t's only lately (in the past 3 years or so) that I've stopped apologizing for my existence. No, I'm not sorry about calling and taking up your time, and no, I'm not sorry about having all this spare time on Tuesday nights. It's quite nice to be not doing anything for the night once in a while, thank you very much.
On my relationship with friendster: I'm the co-moderator of our lively Romance & Relationships forum as well as our CSS forum. No, I don't work there. I just do this for fun. Yes, some of us spell fun differently than others.
I'm a neutral sort of realist. I see **** hitting the fan in the near future, and I prepare for it. Since I happen to be right about **** hitting the fan 80% of the time, I find that this is the way to go, instead of being an optimistic, ill-prepared idi...person. Needless to say, I'm NOT a romantic.
I'm the master of my kitchen. It's pure talent and no skill in plating - things always taste great (the other day I made a bacon and oyster omelette with hollandaise sauce.) but looks pretty weird. I really need to learn how to PLATE.
The most recent life changing experience that happened to me is becoming a mother. I still refuse to say that is the MOST important label for myself - a mother - but it is one of the most important. He's a beautiful little boy, but he's also teething, but currently he's driving me nuts.
I've recently started a new web site in my transformation from a hardcore gamer to a casual gamer. It's called The Minute Gamer. It's a game site for people with a life.
Sometimes I come across as a mean person, but really, I'm a good person with an impassive exterior. In the words of Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods: Nice is different than good.

Who I Want to Meet:
I used to only associate with extremely smart people. I figured, if you only talk to people who are more intelligent than you, then you have no where to go but up right? Then I realized that there are less intelligent people who are more human. I don't know who's better off, but it's more fun to be friends with people who are human.
I want to meet someone who knows what a good movie is and more importantly, what a bad movie is. I appreciate a good movie. I try to avoid bad movies at all cost. I watched Ocean's Twelve the other day and almost hung myself halfway to avoid watching the other half.
I like people who aren't into the "I'll be friends with you right now...that is until you're single again" mentality. Cause guess what? I'm sick of that. I have a boyfriend. I live with him. I love him to bits.
And of course, I want to meet good people. Nevermind the nice people.
