      • I remember playing Balderdash with Deb at English society meetings at UF and I still love that game today.
Two years later I saw Deb at Food TOwn with her Grandma in the dairy section, but she didn't notice me (no matter what she says) so I left.
I am very happy that I had a second chance to meet Deb because she is one of the most flat out FUN people I know.
Deb is such a good friend that she will go to the ends of the earth (Brooklyn or even Long Island) to party on with you.
Finally, I look forward to Deb's Holiday Postcards very much and hope that I will get the joke everytime. Even when they're not addressed to me.

      • Not only will Deb tell you that you have
food stuck between your teeth, she'll
actually pick your teeth for you. ergo she
proves that one can not only pick their
friends, but they can pick their friends
        teeth too.

      • i never thanked Deb for her pleasant
company on the 4th of july, or for the
crank real estate call that made my
day. i also never thanked her for
keeping my babies in the soft tufts of
her foot fur, or for not making me cut
her when i told her not to scream.
thank you deb for these moments and for
all the moments we've yet to share.

      • Deb once wrote a really touching poem about
doughnuts. It was a real moment. Only Deb
can tell you how it is. A wordsmith and
        observer of the highest order.

      • I can honestly say that I have know
Deb all my life. I was there for the
big hair, then her long hair, at which
time we were often confused as
        identical twins (which really got
under Deb's skin, as I am the younger
twin, but only by 2 years!) Deb is so
much fun to have as a sister, and as a
friend. I can remember several years
ago, I visited Deb in Maryland and she
showed me how to make a damn good cup
of coffee. This was a turning point
in my life, for no matter what
traumatic event occured, I still had a
good, strong cup of black coffee in my
hand to help me get through it.
        Thanks, Deb!

      • Deb has been rightfully accused of many
        things: weaving labyrinthian tales;
taking full advantage of the "buy one
get one" happy hour concept; asking
        young Jews regularly if they
        have "special needs." However, don't
        ever accuse this upper-upper-east side
maven of being a "bargain basement
Blossom" or you will be socked in the
        nose.

      • I don't use the term "boozehound"
often, but when speaking of Deb, let's
just say...she's no stranger to the
lady's room floor at a scuzzy dive.
