What I enjoy doing:
Trying to reverse the effects 80's romantic comedies have had on my life, Defeater of Insecurities Worldwide, meandering aimlessly around both the streets of NYC... and Friendster, watching and deeply analyzing TV, any and all live music (except pitch-corrected bubble-gum crap), reading, buying rounds of shots, keepin' up with the Mutants, avoiding holidays at all costs
-
Favorite Books:
How about authors? (Can I include Alex Ross in all this?) Chuck Klosterman, Neil Gaiman, Bret Easton Ellis (I just finished "Lunar Park"... a book hasn't left me that jumpy since reading The Shining when I was 11), Chuck Palahniuk, Robert Fulghum, Stephen King, Robert McCammon
-
Favorite Movies:
The list is long... Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Crash (Haggis, not Cronenberg), Before Sunrise/set, Sin City, Seed of Chucky (How can you not?), Love Actually (best use of flashcards since "Parenthood"), Shaun of the Dead, Die Hard, American Psycho, Dream with the Fishes, Serenity, Donnie Darko, Cinema Paradiso, About Last Night, Flirting with Disaster, Saved!, Citizen Ruth, Scream (all 3... I don't care what anyone says... 3 KICKS ASS!), any and all Lucas/Spielberg PRE-1990 (Oh, how the mighty have fallen...), St. Elmo's Fire, This is Spinal Tap!, The Station Agent, Fight Club, Lord of the Rings, Terminator 2, ALMOST FAMOUS (any Cameron Crowe), Nightmare on Elm Street, could go on and on forever... okay, so I'm a movie junkie. My DVD collection is terrifying.

Favorite Music:
Give me any outdoor music festival, and I'm in heaven. Other music I enjoy: Dave Matthews Band, Matchbox twenty, Grateful Dead, Phish, moe., Metallica, Polyphonic Spree (Who follows Metallica with the Spree? I do, that's who! :-)), Pink Floyd, String Cheese Incident, Keller Williams, Blink 182, NOFX, REM, Rancid, Simon and Garfunkel, Green Day, Rolling Stones, Live, Beth Hart, Leftover Salmon, Tenacious D, Bon Jovi (I'll come out of the closet and just admit it already), Weezer, Toad the Wet Sprocket, A New Found Glory, Santana, Janis Joplin... Is it legal to be this eclectic, and STILL hate Madonna???
-
Favorite TV Shows:
Nip/Tuck, Adult Swim, Farscape, HUFF!, Simpsons, Surface, My Name is Earl, The Shield, Family Guy, Arrested Development (I HATE YOU ALL FOR NOT WATCHING THIS SHEER GENIUS! Okay... feel better now... but it's still your fault it got canceled), the NEW Battlestar Galactica, Extras, Rescue Me, Starved, Weeds, It's Always Sunny in Philly, The 4400, Entourage, South Park, Daily Show (Can't end my day without it), Sopranos, Bill Maher, Alias, 24... right, so I'm a TV junkie too. I like to rationalize my addiction by calling it a business expense.

About Me:
My DAYS OF OUR LIVES blog is up on: www.myspace.com/tommiecas
FYI: Friendster recommended me for the following three groups: Shady Individuals, Gay Jews and W.W.J.D. I am not shady. Not Jewish. And I'm pretty sure I know the answer to the other question. He'd say: "Who cares... you're still cool... pass the wine..."
According to my testimonials, I am (allegedly) a lush who owns a suit and likes to find people new jobs. Well, maybe... but I'm also a lot of other things. I'm a little geeky, but a little hip... a little ESPN, but a little Sci-Fi... a little passive, but a little aggressive... a bit of a partier, but a bit of a homebody... a little gay, but a little straight... I'm either extremely well-rounded, or have multiple personality disorder. You be the judge...
The longer I'm away from my piano, the worse off I am...
I throw my jeans on the floor at the end of the day.
All my shirts have sleeves. Some long. Some short. But they all have sleeves.
No one can ever tell I'm Italian.
Flirting is a foreign language to me.
I don't do Barbra, Bette, Britney, Madonna (the entertainer or the religious icon), tight clothing, the gym, or Broadway... and words like "fierce", "breeders" and "fabulous" are not part of my vocabulary. And I know jack about hair, fashion and dancing. Yet somehow, they still let me in the club. Sometimes I agree with Cartman... and it scares the crap out of me. I'd rather get major dental work than go shopping for clothes.
I actually know all my Friendsters.
I live for the flop, the turn, and the river.
I can laugh at myself. Finally

He is going to drink green beer with me on St. Patrick's Day...and that makes me love him even more!
incident that involved him puking tequila
AT THE BAR and me actually getting
SENT home in a cab, where I fell asleep
and the cab driver, instead of raping me
and dropping me the in Bronx, woke me
up at Hudson and Christopher. But...
bygones. The point is, Tom is frickin'
AWESOME. If he was into girls, I'd of
put the moves on him by now. My
favorite part of mine and Tom's
relationship is watching bad TV on IM
from our separate apartments, and
commenting the whole time. Yeah,
we're lame, but we love it. He's so
awesome and kind and generous and
funny and smart and cool and the only
bad thing I can say is that he only has 2
pair of shoes. But hey, nobody's
perfect. He drinks whiskey with me
when I need it and is the most supportive
person I've ever met. Tom, I love you so
much, that I promise to look up 10
synonyms for "fabulous" tomorrow and
incorporate them into my vernacular.
