How are you? Things are fine, but I miss my scissors.

this is a classic amber expression. like if she and
i were walking down the street and i were to say,
"man, wheelies are fucking awsome!", amber
would give me a look something like this. it says
"look i love you. i've got a tender seaweed and
acorn heart, but kid you got to get this silliness
together!" This said, we must recognize that
amber is the photographer in this picture aswell
as the subject. I won't speculate as to what that
might mean concerning the expression, but i will
say however being amber's friend is beyond the
realm of adjectives. the only way that i could
properly express this too you would be through a
series of facial expressions and perhaps a bag of
small, yet poignantly symbolic
items(pins,measuring tape,centipedes, a piece of
paper with the word "wonky" written on it,ect). uh
yeah,yeah, she's swell.
shop at Evergreen and Amber was there,
putting on a corset that she had made.
She had the most fabulous bosom
spilling out of the top. I never forgot it.
Then, one day, not too long ago, she
gave me that corset. Imagine my
delight. And I'm not even gay!
acquaintence. And that we live in the
same town (suckahs!).
The other day over wine, some friends
and I toasted Amber after listing our
favorite things about her.
Mine was that from the moment we were
introduced, she acted like we were
already friends. She seems to have this
comfort with all humans. I think this is
nothing short of amazing, especially
after living here for awhile.
O, and speaking of wine: Sorry about
that time you came to my apt to watch tv
and I missed you cuz I was down at the
Waterstreet for the half-priced vino.
That was silly of me.
Can I make it up to you?

my kindergarten teacher so you could read to
me. Maybe we can arrange that next time we
are in the same town. I'll pay you.

artistic and briliant and quietly
sparkling. She makes really good mac &
cheese, books, cake. I want to go to
the movies with her, but mostly I want
her to be happy.

Amber has real vision. Amber can
see. Amber has a good sense of better
and worse. Amber laughs. Amber
reminds me of really oxygenated air,
and bread rising. Amber is earnest,
she means it. Amber is so solid and
so sweet. Amber's face is so soft and
her pupils are so big and round.
Amber is about as simple and together
as they come. Amber is both the
spring and the fall. Amber is a
secret psychedelic love child.
"testified" to that yet: with a twinkle in her eye,
cheeks a-rosy, deadly skills in the book-arts, and
winning ways with the kids she is truly one to
reckoned with.
