About Me:
The re-write since I got to Kabul - I am appreciating the simple things: kids flying kites made out of clear plastic bags, how a wave at someone staring at you like you are a zoo animal instantly changes their expression, the beautiful hillsides in the morning light with the mud brick houses and wondering how all the old people make it all the way there on the narrow mud and rock staircases; how amazing it is to make friends from so many other countries, and how much you appreciate those from your own in this setting. It's been an unexpected adventure. Life is good, fun, learning. I do miss my family and friends though. And Los Angeles (and yes, you can't take it out of me - driving and my car).
