About Me:
I could have gone to the NFL but my coach was a jerk plus my knee gave out, plus I wasn't fast and couldn't catch or move laterally that well. After two years of riding the bench I decided it was time to finally move on. I decided I would announce sports 'cause I like sports. Now I'm proud to be a member of the Channel 4 News Team, with my good friend and hero Ron Burgundy.

quiet about it anymore. Champ Kind's trademark,
"Whammy!" was actually stolen from Winter
Stevens, a sportscaster in the much smaller
market, Wilkes Barre, PA. Winter would often
shout, "Slamm-o!" but you can see how very close
it is.
