About Me:
SFRaves is an electronic virtual community of ravers, networking together around the clock, sharing information and ideas, and even planning our own parties. The mailing list started in 1992 and has over 2500 members from all parts of the community and all parts of the world (although the focus of the discussion is on San Francisco). Below is information about SFRaves itself as well as information about the entire San Francisco scene.

Are you a self-proclaimed Technical Geek who is a Development Guru? Might you / your colleagues be interested in becoming involved with the next generation of the SFRaves Calendar Project?
The SFRaves Calendar is located @ http://www.hyperreal.org/raves/sf/calendar2
More information about Zope is located here: http://www.zope.org
All interested parties should have a solid understanding of and development experience with authoring and building applications using the Zope application framework, ZPT, Python, PHP, MYSQL. Plone and other languages that might be used to enhance the SFR Calendar Application.
Please note if you are seeing issues with the current calendar incarnation (bugs, errors, etc) please note that I am aware of them and am currently in the process of addressing / fixing these issues.
Please send responses to karina@hyperreal.org

Alternative solutions are also being considered for the next generation of this codebase. This includes other languages specific to the development of applications in a web environment.
Thanks and regards

with SFRaves as a participant since its
inception 13 years ago. I've been
following / using the site as a resource
since I was in high school. SFRaves has
always been an invaluable resource to
me, as well as the source of many great
connections, events, memories and
lasting experiences.
I have followed the SFRaves Calendar
since it's inception 10 years ago, and
have /
continue to used/use it as a resource
both in promotions, event planning,
attendance, and giving something back to
the local community.
This year in November, I will have
participated as staff in moderation of /
maintaining SFRaves.org and the SFRaves
Calendar for seven years. I became
involved with the SFRaves Calendar and
Hyperreal.org as a contributor in
November of 1998, after following Derek
Chung's and Brian Behlendorf's
contribution for a number of years.
The fact that Hyperreal is a
not-for-profit entity - non commercial -
is a treasure to be cherished, never
forgotton.
(Except maybe that Apache web
server *wink*)
going. Kewl nu kalendar.
remember this when it started haha,
opps that gives my age away but **** it
im still DowN!! MUCH RESPECT!!!!!!!
