especially for his upcoming Birthday!
(hee hee rhymes!) He appeared
suddenly one day on my level on
consciousness as one of the last true
blonds and transforming into Mr. Lundy,
that lovely scottish schoolmaster. Since
then i have seen him grip life by
the.....or rather jumped on its back and
said WEEEEEE let's Go!!!! He has
done many many things such as be a
singer, actor, writer, and friend. He was
very nice and even let me name his
T.Rex, Ginger Snap. While i am too far
away to see him again soon, i am glad I
can read his website. Oh and Matt, i
never did thank you for that "secret"
limerick you wrote me for Cripple of
Inishman. So a belated Thanks and an
open invitation of a couch to sleep on if
you ever make it to England.
That alone makes him testimonially
worthy.
But also he's my partner-in-crime in the
writing scene. What writing scene?
Well, it used to be Beloit, but now our
writing scene exists on the Web, where
we exchange plays and such via email.
The effort's worth it because he is one
truly talented writer. There's no one else
I'd rather be associated with, truly.
And thanks to my subconsciously
stealing his idea, one day a week for me
has become a dress-up day. You
inspire me without my even knowing it,
Matthew J. Kudos to you there!
wern't hot enough for his tastes.
what's up with that?
Friday to my Frumpy Friday, my quiet
lunch partner after a Steve Wright
class, the one who was ever so
discreet about the glances we would
share when we were thinking on the
same lines. Matt is the guy who
asked me what I would like to see in
a play about women/a women's play
and half a year later delivered an
amazing condensation of what
women are about when they are not
just an excuse for a writer to be angry
at them. Oh yeah and it just so
happened to win an award, just so
you know that this guy is amazing
and I mis him.
coupple. his kind heart knows no
bounds. he even called to remind me to
take my medicine. he's an amazing
writer and all around theatre artist.
even though he loves another director
more than me, i'd direct another play
of his in a heart beat. he writes
women more than almost anyone i can
think of... possibly because he loves
them so much. women that is. all of
them. i hope i get to see him a lot in
the future. and, in conclusion, buy
your matthew j. thong today!!
only do I enjoy spending lots of time
with him (which hasn't happened too
much, in all honesty, lately), I also
enjoy reading about him and all of his
adventures. He's on the web, oh yes.
