Hobbies and Interests:
Random fun, exploring, walking aimlessly around this great city, making friends laugh, acting goofy, eating dark chocolate, singing, movies (sci-fi, period, romance, thriller, independent, comedy), music-music-music, swimming, theatre. Haven't been to London or Madrid yet and love New York. Moved to my favorite place to visit 2 years ago. The Stud to the Edge. Tamale Lady to Red Grill. Baker Beach to Twin Peaks. Castro to Polk. Davis to A.C.T. Amber/Sandalwood/Frankencense/Myrrh, dancing-anywhere, hours in a recording studio, talking, music, random-ness, sharing, being loud with friends, campfires, my job, learning, laughing, warm rains, crisp nights, the beach, being me, inspiring people.
-
Favorite Books:
Koontz, Sedaris, Zukav, Ferris, Anton Wilson...those random books your friends hand you saying, "You've GOT to read this!"
-
Favorite Movies:
Give me a "period piece" Merchant & Ivory style ANY DAY! Independant film is my favorite and I try to catch it as often as I can. I like most film. Over the years I have given up on the "teen slasher" genre. Boring for me. Toss in a creepy supernatural triller element and I'm back in! Romance, comedy, documentary, musical, animated/digital, sci-fi... BRING IT!

Favorite Music:
Top of the List: PWEI, M.I.A., LADY SOVEREIGN, GOLDFRAPP. Give me a good beat, melody line, hook, chorus, funky riff, and I'm off. I lean towards anything electronic. I don't resonate with rap but can't deny the slammin grooves in some tracks. Country can be the same for me. I don't like the "my world is so dark and angry and I'm gonna scream about it" stuff, but don't deny it's creative and some of it's good. Some of the best guitar I've heard is the speed metal Eric Franklin plays, but I can't necessarily dance to it. Perfect pop is undeniably infectious as much as it can be nausiating. I learned long ago that to be opinionated to the point of limiting my exposure to other types of music was the worst thing I could do. So, I shut my mouth and started listening and I found I really liked most of what I heard. What I didn't... well, I now know more about what I really like and enjoyed the experience. Turn me on... recommend something new to me.

Favorite TV Shows:
Sister Wendy (on anything... she's so pervy for a nun, I love it) Hmmm... If I can catch it, the NEW Battlestar Galactica ROCKS!... hard. Period. Desperate House Wives and Grey's Anatomy. Alias and Lost keep me tuning in. When I do catch T.V. these are the ones I check out. Oh, Oprah form time to time. She's on at my gym when I get there after work. Love me some Church-of-Oprah. Werd.

About Me:
I can't stress enough that life is a choice. You make your choices. If you don't like what you've got... choose something else. If what you've chosen sucks/hurts/isn't rewarding/isn't working... choose something different. It's THAT easy. Really. Don't sit and bitch or complain about what you don't have or what sucks. If it does, DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT. I did and I'm in Heaven. I LOVE the place I'm in right now. The people that I love, love back. I'm choosing to live every day the best I can and love as much as I can. If there's a party, I put INTO it, not take from it. If the people around me are draggin me down with negativity, I walk on to a positive place. I'm SO NOT better than anybody else. I'm not on a high-and-mighty, self-rightous trip, I just finally started livin the good stuff I've heard for years and never put into action. I chose to do that. And now I'm pretty blissful almost all the time. When I'm not, I'm feeling good and quiet and humble and appreciative. Fortunately, I've had great teachers and I chose to listen. That's key. Toss me a curve ball... go ahead... try it..

Who I Want to Meet:
People that are enjoying life and all the adventures that come with it. People that get excited to be with one another and share and live "consciously", with respect to others and the world. People that inspire. People that have worked through their "crap" and don't wear attitudes or material possessions like it's their identity. People that can say, "Hey, I love you and I love myself". You know, amazing people. Wait, I've met tons already! Hot.

With girls wed mate
Wed think its great
To live in a Red State
And there wed be
In our S-U-V
SpongeBob wed really hate
If we were straight
(But were not straight)
If we liked chicks
And lived in the sticks
The on-ly tricks
Would be the ce-re-al
And Id know that you
Could marry legally too!
At church wed con-gre-gate
If we were straight
(But were not straight)
Were happy
But were gay too
And yes wed like to know
What you do in bed with guys!
Ben!?!
That just won't do. No, not at all.
Ben Rocks! Plain and simple. He's fun,
sweet, and senstive, plus he's one of the
few people who can sell as many candy
bars as I can. (you know what I'm talkin'
about).
Ben brings the love to my heart and puts
the party in my pants.
Love ya Ben.
impared" I count on good advise from
my Uncle Ben. Instead of telling me
to give up he points towards Macy's
and other places. I'll admit, I had
no idea mens clothing was sold at
Macys and in the last month I've been
there 4 times. I may have a slight
shopping problem now...but hay,
summer's around the corner and one
must prepare for it! Ben, thanks--
This addiction is turning heads!
sweeps you off your" and you will find
this man. The megawatt smile, the
straightforwardness, the bigger than
life persona all combine to make him
and outrageous presence whenever he
walks into a room.
And I've only known him two months.
It kills me to think that all I needed
was *one* *more* *congratulations*...
said? Ben is tall, handsome, romantic,
fun, funny, and talented. He's big
hearted, gives warm hugs, kisses with
his eyes open (mmmm), and so damn
affectionate. Along with being one of
the best dating experiences I have had
in years, and I would break up again
with him any time, anywhere. This boy
was smiling the second I met him. It's
easy to see how much Ben loves life.
THE DANCEFLOOR. A fantastic guy with so
many flipping things in common with me
that I'd have to say we're SIS'TAH's!
DID I SAY THIS BOY CAN GROOVE?
or at least til he gives me my stuff
back! Ok, the end of time either way.
Has it really been this long? It's
longer than one of his phone messages,
and that's TIME, baby! He's a real
treat, a great friend, funny as sin,
sinful as fun, and he's making Sid
proud! Kisses, Ho!!
uncle is cool." I say, "yeh, I know." -
