One Thursday evening in November 2002, a group of five eager beavers pledged a commitment to serve the Our Lady of Penafrancia Parish Church and its people. Through the effort of Mr. Roy Perez and Allan Ferolino, Voiz 2 Praiz Choir was born.

The group celebrated its very first Christmas with bunches of blessings, the number of servants, songbooks, song pieces, as well as practice nights increased.

Two yeas after its foundation, the organization expanded. Its members composed of students, lay workers, unemployed and professionals, single or married, shared the spirits of service to God, the Church, and brotherhood. Resources continuously expanded through serenade. The group finally had raised enough fund to have its own guitar amplifier

A Capella with harmony was introduced on its third year. The group enjoyed the service more than ever. Group's repertoire expanded. Many lessons were laid down. More pieces were studied. But that year was full of fun and challenges

Viging and Maria Angelica worked hand in hand to make the service fuller.

To date, members are working on the groups' continuous interest, effort, and commitment to serve.

Ave verum corpus is a short Eucharistic hymn dating from the 14th century and attributed to Pope Innocent VI (d. 1362), which has been set to music by various composers. During the Middle Ages it was sung at the elevation of the host during the consecration. It was also used frequently during Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.

The hymn's title means "Hail, true body", and is based on a poem deriving from a 14th-century manuscript from the Abbey of Reichenau, Lake Constance. The poem is a meditation on the Catholic belief in Jesus's Real Presence in the sacrament of the Eucharist, and ties it to Catholic ideas on the redemptive meaning of suffering in the life of all believers.
