Freeze The Summer Curse, Doom The Archipelago!
The Band was conceptualized and concieved on 2006
childhood friends Jojo and Delia Preston(ex-femme vox,drums) combined their ideas for music that is cut above the rest.
A year into the venture Delia left to pursue her studies. leaving Jojo to fend for himself. Jojo then decided to pick-up the slack left by Delia and hence, another WN line up was formed
The band went thru a lot of atrocities, numerous member changes and total revamps forcing the band to halt its operations.and hence forcing the winterhim to be delayed...
former band names include:
Seraphims Winter, Winter and Beleagered Dirge Inferno
Semestral break of 06 when Jojo decided to resume its frustrated motives by hiring some of his classmates to join the fold never did he thought that it would be the start of Winter Nightfalls resurrection and the return of the Winterhim. ALAS! True filipino doom metal is born!

We play a branch of Metal that is gravely ignored,neglected and underrated - DOOM METAL
A lot pretend to have great knowledge and some claim the throne but none of them got close to being a REAL DOOM METAL BAND some of them getting consumed by insecurities and their own ghosts in the process
only a few really knows what the hell DOOM metal really is
We tend to part ourselves from the traditional and redundant fast-paced and brutal type of metal which to some Filipinos is the meter stick of the word "heavy"....A new evolution, A new revolution, A new Winter Nightfall unfolds. A new concept is concieved, Expect even more shivers to be sent down your unwilling spines and the far corners of your mind.
