Wu Xian Yin (Infinite Sound) is a Singapore based Chinese rock band. Initially formed with Alan on vocals/guitar, Tas on lead guitar and Chris on drums, the line up was only finalized on 14th January 2006 when bassist Jim was officially recruited into the band. The band performed their first gig on the 5th of Feb 2006, at Hougang Mall Celebration Club for the "Chinese New Year 2006 Gig". However, after a few weeks, guitarist Tas made a decision to leave the band and was quickly replaced by Dino, a good friend of Alan. After a few jamming sessions in early April, the band decided to participate in Singapore Street Festival 2006. In the midst of preparing for the Singapore Street Festival, drummer Chris left the band due to his job commitments. This void was later filled by Jim’s ex drummer, Taku, on 15th April 2006. Now, Infinite Sound has the strongest line-up ever. With the majority of its members coming from different bands with various musical styles and background, Wu Xian Yin (Infinite Sound) does not believe in restricting themselves to any specific musical style or genre. The band’s direction and intention is to experiment and fuse their ideas together, with hopes of creating original concepts and compositions. To Infinity and Beyond!
